Using the Helpling platform and receive payments require data security and trust. Therefore, the verification of your identity is required in order to receive customer payments via our external payment provider Stripe. Please double check that all your data (first and last name, date of birth and address) are correct before proceeding with the verification.

The document verification has two steps:

  • Step 1: Upload your passport or identity card to verify your identity.
  • Step 2: Add a supporting document for a full verification. The document must display your home address. It is recommended that you use a utility bill or bank statement for this purpose. Make sure your address is fully visible.

Common mistakes:

  1. This process requires you to use two different documents. A document that was already used in step 1 cannot be used again in step 2.
  2. For verification purposes, it is necessary that the uploaded document shows a recent date (6 months maximum).
  3. If the verification request appears again, this may be due to the quality of the uploaded document.

Please check whether you might be stuck due to any of the common errors again and try to submit your documents again if necessary. The documents will only be sent to the payment service provider and cannot be viewed by Helpling.

Is any of your data no longer up-to-date?
