In 2024 a new piece of legislation about online platforms for services came into effect. It is known as the Digital Services Act or DSA (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065). It is fully applicable since February 17th, 2024.

The aim of this DSA is to create a safer and more accountable environment for users of services offered online. As an online platform, Helpling must make sure that the providers, as providers of services, “commit to only offer services that comply with the applicable rules of the European Union.” This is what we ask to confirm through the app.

Please note: If providers do not confirm this, Helpling will have to suspend their accounts on the Helpling Platform and they won't be able to offer their services on the booking platform itself.
